The Servo Hospitality School offers an International Diploma in Bakery which is affiliated to OTHM, United Kingdom. This course is designed for candidates who wish to acquire an expertise in the art of confectionary and patisserie and integrates both theoretical and practical training. This course covers various baking technicalities, hacks and skills, patisserie principles, chocolate handling techniques and sculpture making. The course also focusses on the functional areas of the hospitality operation including kitchen administration and food production, fundamentals of food and beverage services, food science and hygiene. Besides, emphasis is also placed on technical and interpersonal skills, customer handling technique, ethics, professionalism, standards of etiquette and hospitable conduct and time management as they are all essential perquisites to an international hospitality career. A state-of-the-art culinary studio is available in the campus for students to practice their culinary and bakery skills.
Candidate must have completed 10+2 or equivalent qualification in any stream from a recognized national or state board.
