At the Servo Hospitality School, we offer International Diploma in Culinary Arts which helps students learn contemporary and classic culinary techniques and cooking methods. This course is affiliated to OTHM, United Kingdom. The course integrates both theoretical and practical components and focusses on the functional areas of the culinary operations. It introduces the basic principles of sanitation and safety related to the hospitality industry including personal hygiene, sanitation and safety regulations, usage and care of the equipment and the principles of foodborne illnesses. Through the guidance of experienced professionals and practical training, the students imbibe extensive knowledge of cooking hacks and skills and application of different methods and techniques of cooking. Emphasis is also placed on technical and interpersonal skills, study skills, ethics, professionalism and time management as they are all essential perquisites to an international hospitality career.
Candidate must have completed 10+2 or equivalent qualification in any stream from a recognized national or state board.
The duration of this course is 12 months which involves 6 months of theoretical and practical training and 6 months of industrial exposure. At the end of 12 months, students are sent for international Internships or placements facilitating an immersive global hospitality experience.
